THE ENVIRONMENT

In the future pollution will increase more and more. It will then go on the rampage on our environment, our extraordinary nature.
People won’t care to protect the fresh air which we inhale anymore. As more and more pollutants are present, we will become intoxicated.
Our days of life on earth are counted, forests, oceans and the land are not respected by man anymore. This is why I’m pessimistic about tomorrow’s world.

Prom - 100 days before Matura Exam

0n 21st of January at our school there was Prom - an annual traditional ball organized by us - the students of the last school year and our parents. We invited our headmaster and teachers. We wished them to share the enjoyment and excitement with us.
Our parents arranged the meals, drinks, a music band, cameramen and photographers. We were responsible for decorating the main hall, our classrooms and … ourselves. It took long months before and brought also a lot of problems. Every girl had the same problem: which dress to wear, which boy to invite, what make-up would be the most suitable, etc,etc. They made appointments at hairdressers and cosmeticians. The result was splendid – it was hard to recognize each other. Boys looked really great and so different in their elegant suits, shirts and ties. The full name of my school is Penta College CSG Jacob van Liesveldt. It’s part of a group of five schools, that’s why it’s called Penta College. The school is situated in Hellevoetsluis, that’s a village (or city) near the city of Rotterdam. (more…)

My favorite village Fohnsdorf by Nadine St
The village were I live is Fohnsdorf. It is in Styria. It has 9000 people and it is very big for a village. I really like it to live in Fohnsdorf, because I think it is a beautiful village. You can do many freetime activities. There also is a music school. The Arene, a shopping city, is very cool, because there are many shops and a big cinema. The town where I live is Judenburg, a small, beautiful city in Styria.
We have about 11000 inhabitants. The landmark of Judenburg is the city tower. It is 75 meters high and about 500 years old. Judenburg is a popular tourism city.

I live in Judenburg and it is a great place to live. It is a small city in Styria with 11.000 inhabitant. But we must travel several kilometres to the ARENA shopping centre if we want to go shopping.
Judenburg is also a school-centre with several types of schools.

Our city Lons-Le-Saunier is in a thermal area, Jura, which is in the region Franche-Comté in the East of France.

We are a class of twenty-two girls who are from fifteen to nineteen years old.

We prepare a diploma BTEC first in secretary topics. In our class the atmosphere is dynamic.

I love mineralogy because the history of minerals is very interesting and surprising.
men, like you and me one day by chance broke stones and in the interior they fell on what one calls minerals today.
