The magazine I want to present is the first Polish magazine just for manga and anime lovers - Kawaii. It comes out once a month. This title means ’sweet, nice’. It was first published in 1997 by Phoenix Press Publishing. Every issue is different, even more interesting. We can find there comprehensive section on latest anime series or movies. Enthusiasts of manga can read about the newest volume of their favourite book series translated to Polish. There are also articles about Japanese tradition and culture. (more…)

I’d like to present a magazine which is one of my favorites. I’m never bored while looking through it. This is a popular tabloid ‘Your Style’. It’s a monthly magazine which first came out in May 2005. The copy with a supplement (CD) costs nearly 10 zlotys. Its paper is smooth and shining. There is more than 200 pages containing mainly photo reports. The magazine contains a lot of pictures, illustrations, photos showing landscapes, famous people, monuments and numerous advertisements. As a women magazine, ‘Your Style’ guides a reader to the world of fashion, beauty, make-up, health, cooking etc. It’s full of tips for every modern woman. I always start with the second page – the contents. The magazine is full of photo reports, guidelines, sensations, interviews and also serious reviews. (more…)

It is six years since the English theatre group was created at our school. This year , a group of nine passionate students under the guidance of the teacher – Mrs Marta Inglot, prepared a comedy in three acts ‘Cupid on wheels’. The play was written by Mrs Hilda Vleugels, a famous Belgian playwright, who has written 16 plays translated from the Flemish to English, German and French and performed by theatres in Belgium, France, Greece and the USA.
